Scholarship Calculation

Each recipient’s scholarship award will be based on the eligible costs billed by the college and the student’s funding gap after other scholarship and grant awards are applied.

Check out our College Cost Calculator to estimate your scholarship amount.

Off-campus Policy

The Meeting Street Scholarship can be used toward the cost of off-campus housing and food for students in their second, third or fourth year. The Scholarship requires on-campus housing and food for first-year students.

At-a-Glance

  • The Scholarship is designed to aid in the cost of living off-campus, but it may not cover the full financial commitment.
  • Scholarship awards, which include the off-campus allowance, are dispersed directly to your college, not to apartment management companies or individual landlords.
  • Please ensure you are signed up with your college to receive your refund via direct deposit to your preferred bank account. Otherwise, you will be mailed a check to your address on file.

study abroad policy

The Scholarship can be used toward faculty-led or exchange study abroad programs; third-party programs are not eligible. The award only can be used to cover tuition and academic fees charged by student’s eligible college. Program fees, housing, food, transportation, books/materials and personal expenses will not be covered.

summer class policy

If a student did not fully utilize their $10,000 Meeting Street Scholarship within the academic year, they may be eligible to receive the remaining funds to cover direct summer costs (including tuition, fees, on-campus housing and food). To access these funds, we ask that the student obtain a summer job or internship and apply for summer financial aid from their college or university. To determine whether the student has funds remaining for this academic year, they can log in to the Meeting Street Scholarship Recipient Portal and view the Scholarship Tracking tool.
